To achieve this comprehensive level of approval, we have invested in facilities to ensure pre-compliance of our products before formal testing by an external body, thereby saving the time and expense of re-testing.
Quality Management
We have a dedicated department focussed on compliance and quality management. All our procurement, in-take, manufacturing and despatch procedures follow robust methodologies, with transparent traceability.
In-house Testing Capabilities
At Devlin Electronics, we have a wide range of equipment to check products conform to the required electro-magnetic compliance standards. We are particularly proud of our in-house EMC chamber, which is used for product self-certification. Specialised equipment includes a spectrum analyser (to measure radiation emissions), log and bi-conical antenna (measuring radio wave receipt across a range of frequencies), LISN (for power supply and associated noise analysis) and a reference source to calibrate the chamber.
Rental of EMC Chamber
We also offer our EMC chamber for rent to customers who wish to test their products before formal compliance, minimising potential costs if the product does not pass certification on the first attempt.
